Ingredients
  

  • Plain yogurt: 2 tablespoons (Greek or regular; unsweetened and unflavored)
  • Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon (ground, culinary-grade)
  • Honey (optional): 1 teaspoon for added moisture and slip
  • Oat flour or rice flour (optional): 1 teaspoon to thicken for oily skin
  • A small bowl and spoon
  • A clean brush or your fingertips

Instructions
 

  • Start with clean skin: Wash your face and pat dry so the mask applies evenly.
  • Mix the base: Add yogurt to a bowl. Stir until smooth.
  • Add turmeric: Sprinkle in the turmeric powder and mix well. The color should be a warm golden yellow, not bright orange.
  • Customize: Stir in honey for extra hydration, or a little oat/rice flour if you prefer a thicker, less drippy mask.
  • Patch test: Dab a small amount on your jawline and wait 10 minutes. Rinse and check for redness or irritation before full use.
  • Apply: Use clean fingers or a brush to spread a thin, even layer over your face, avoiding the eyes and lips.
  • Wait: Leave on for 8–12 minutes. Don’t let it fully crack or dry out completely.
  • Rinse: Use lukewarm water and gentle circular motions. Follow with a light moisturizer and sunscreen in the daytime.
