Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt (thicker works best)
  • 2–3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch-process for deeper flavor)
  • 2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy), as needed for texture
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, shaved dark chocolate, mini chocolate chips, toasted nuts, coconut flakes, a dollop of whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • Whisk the base: In a medium bowl, stir the Greek yogurt until smooth and creamy.
  • Add flavor: Sift in the cocoa powder to avoid clumps. Add honey or maple, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  • Adjust texture: Whisk until fully blended. If it feels too thick, add milk 1 teaspoon at a time until it’s silky and spoonable.
  • Taste and tweak: Add a little more sweetener for a softer flavor or more cocoa for deeper chocolate notes.
  • Chill (optional): For a mousse-like finish, cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  • Serve: Spoon into small bowls and finish with your favorite toppings.
