Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or 5% for extra creaminess; use nonfat if you prefer)
  • 1/2–3/4 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
  • 1/4–1/3 cup granola or toasted oats for crunch
  • 1–2 tablespoons chopped nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, pecans, pumpkin seeds, or chia)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Small pinch of sea salt (optional, to balance sweetness)
  • Fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep the berries: Rinse and pat dry. Slice strawberries if using. Set aside.
  • Flavor the yogurt: In a bowl, stir the Greek yogurt with vanilla, cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of salt. This step makes the base taste like dessert without adding much sugar.
  • Add sweetness: Drizzle in honey or maple syrup and mix. Start small; you can always add more on top.
  • Layer it up: Spoon the yogurt into a bowl. Top with berries, then sprinkle granola and nuts or seeds for crunch.
  • Finish: Add a last drizzle of honey if needed and a few mint leaves. Serve right away for peak crunch.
